Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi is accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) USA as the first internationally accredited Hospital in India and South Asia. Since then Apollo Chennai and Apollo Hyderabad have also received JCI accreditation. India has been projected as the ‘hub' for Medical Tourism and to make this a reality there is a growing need for internationally accredited hospitals. An accredited hospital assures the best practices in a safe environment and that the patient is in “safe” hands. Subsequent to our accreditation by Joint Commission International (JCI), USA our laboratory services have been recommended for NABL Accreditation. NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) provides laboratory accreditation services to laboratories that are performing tests / calibrations in accordance with criteria based on internationally accepted standards and guidelines . We recently signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, USA to jointly develop state-of-the-art concepts in training, research, clinical trials and diagnostics.
