All four awards were in different categories and the finalists were picked from 363 entries representing 89 leading hospitals from 12 Asian countries. The convention was held in Hanoi, Vietnam and was attended by more than 800 delegates from 25 countries. The event also saw 55 speakers from all over the world presenting their views on different aspects from the healthcare domain. The Group’s Apollo Gleneagles in Kolkata has been awarded for its efforts in ensuring Increased Productivity through reduction of length of stay’ and Project ESCALATE (Eleven Strategies to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance Rate) while the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi has been awarded for its Apollo Community Outreach Programme’ and Improving Patient Satisfaction Levels’.
