Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal (CAHH) has introduced the revolutionary Paediatric Gastroenterology service in its Hebbal, Karnataka campus. The newly formed department will induct experienced consultants from the fields of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Dieticians, Allergy specialists and a dedicated Paramedic staff. The hospital will even offer advanced Ph.D studies in troublesome reflux diagnosis, currently available at only a few centers in India. We are pleased to launch this dedicated service and expand our healthcare facilities to niche segments like paediatric gastroenterology. Quoting a specific case, a 4 month baby, weighing about 1.8 kg, was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition of severe allergy from cow’s milk protein resulting in diarrhea and weight loss. The paediatric team correctly diagnosed the condition and administered the appropriate treatment.
