India favored as fertility treatment destination by nationals of Oman

Top well-known gynaecologist, specialist and obstetrician from the Prashanth Fertility Research Centre (PFRC), Dr Geetha Haripriya says that India is the favorite destination for the people of Oman for seeking a fertility treatment. She personally receives many patients from this Arab country. PFRC is going to a part of the 5th edition of the Oman Health Exhibition and Conference being held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.

Planned by Omanexpo, this flagship event of the health industry of Oman will be attended by over 100 companies, healthcare centers and international hospitals. The event will get over on 9th September. Dr Geetha said, “We are receiving a lot of enquiries and consultations here too.”

As per the statistics by the Indian Embassy, the medical tourism sector of India has gained enormous growth because of the advanced capabilities and reliability. In the year 2013, around 59,033 patients visited India for seeking treatment, and in the year 2014, the number rose to 81,822, a hike of 57.6 percent.
